NKBA certified designers must also meet mandatory continuing education requirements annually.
In addition to my studies through the NKBA, I have taken several design courses at Fairfield University and have a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire.
I am dedicated to providing a high level of customer service and I am happy to provide referrals from current and former clients.
I have 10 years of design experience, 8 of which is in the Kitchen and Bath design field. I have worked at two showrooms, Gallery of kitchens and kitchens of Wilton. Those two years provided me with invaluable experience which helped to launch my own business.
I have my Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer designation, AKBD, through the National Kitchen and Bath Association. To earn AKBD certification,
• Document a minimum of two years of industry experience
• Successfully complete 30 NKBA education hours
• Submit two professional affidavits
• Pass the written AKBD academic exam.
